Dear Sam and Doug,

Once again, huge huge HUGE thank yous for all of the amazing photos and Dougs just generally lovely zen like presence on the day itself. He was an essential part of our wedding – but at the same time, he wasn’t because he was so unobtrusive, most guests didn’t know he was there, as evidenced by some of the beautiful shots of our friends and family laughing and giggling together not even realising they were being photographed. He was also great fun to chat to during the breaks in the formal photos which were over and done with in the blink of an eye.

As you know I was worried about the photos (and this is no false modesty) I am very unphotogenic and good photos of me are treasured (well, by me at least!) It’s so lovely to have a selection to pick from for enlargements and prints for friends and families. We are looking forward to Doug photographing the third and final part of our celebrations which will be a Catholic blessing next year, I only wish we’d taken him out to India for our Hindu ceremony!
