Wedding at the Danish Church in London and Winchester House, Putney
Camilla and Jakob were married in the Danish Church in the exclusive St Katherine’s Precinct area of Regents Park. The church has the traditional Scandinavian white walls and even a boat suspended from the ceiling for dramatic effect. After the service the gusts were whisked away to the private club Winchester House in Richmond, which has great views of the river. The guests enjoyed drinks on the lawn followed by the wedding breakfast in the elegant dining room.
At a Danish wedding guests can stand and make speeches and several took the opportunity to make very eloquent and heartfelt addresses to the couple.
