Cressida & Alex’s Wedding Photographs at St Bride’s in Fleet Street & the Honourable Artillery Company (HAC), London
On this wedding day the ushers met at Simpson’s in the Strand. The wedding service was at St Bride’s Church in Fleet Street and then the reception at the Honourable Artillery Company (HAC) in the City.
The light from the window lead to this visually strong and emotive wedding photograph above during the church service.

Dear Douglas, Thank you so much for your wonderful photography of our wedding. The images you took are fantastic and you have a real ‘eye’ for capturing people’s personalities, indeed some of the pictures are almost portrait studies! Your manner is truly lovely and you have a skill of making people genuinely smile in a quiet unassuming way. My mother in particular is thrilled that you got some flattering pictures of her as she is normally not compatible with camera’s! You worked so hard through the day but were discreet so that Alex and I forgot you were there for much of it. I hope you enjoyed being back at the HAC – we were very lucky wit the weather! Thanks also to Sam for all her correspondence and input. Very best wishes, Cressida and Alex
