Wedding Photographed at Ripley Castle, Yorkshire
This was my first visit to 700 year old Ripley Castle up in North Yorkshire, Eleanor and James were married in the East Wing and had the drinks reception on the circular lawn, just in front. It was a bright autumn day and after the family photographs the couple and I decided to make the most of the sunshine and go for a short walk to capture some shots of just the two of them with the grounds and the castle itself as a backdrop. Everyone enjoyed the wedding breakfast in the first floor dining room with views over the lawns and castle.
The DJ kept the dance floor busy and the band even more so until the early hours – I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and hope to work with Julie and her team at the castle again.

Hi Samantha, Sorry we have been slow to reply to your email, wifi connections have been rather scarce (we are in Borneo). James and I are absolutely thrilled with the photographs, we have only been able to look at the small images, but could not be more pleased with how Douglas has captured the day, so thank you so much for that. Thank you again for giving us such beautiful memories of our day, Eleanor
